HARRISBURG – Rep. Perry Stambaugh (Perry/Juniata) took the oath of office Tuesday to begin his second term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

For the 2023-24 Legislative Session, Stambaugh’s priorities include reining in government overspending, supporting broadband infrastructure for rural Pennsylvania, ensuring elections are conducted fairly and accurately, advocating for pro-business policies, and protecting the rights of responsible gun owners.

“The coming legislative session will not be without its challenges, particularly as the balance of control between Republicans and Democrats in the House is razor thin,” Stambaugh said. “I’m grateful the voters from Perry and Juniata counties have entrusted me to represent their interests in Harrisburg.”
